The primary rôle of the GP1/Z complex is the efficient and productive liquéfaction and séparation of petroleum gas. Achieving this requires optimal conditions for all process instruments, with dry compressed air being particularly important as it powers regulators, transmitters, and pneumatic valves. This air is generated using CHAUMICA dryers, controlled by a SIMENS S3 programmable logic controller (PLC). However, technological advancements have rendered the SIMENS S3 obsolete, making spare parts difficult to obtain. Additionally, the current system lacks continuous supervision. The proposed solution is to replace the SIMENS S3 with a more recent and efficient model from the SIMENS S7 family and to develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) for continuous process monitorien_US
