dc.description.abstract | The rhetoric was develped, and even the styles of irony enormously within the past and the modern era. The rhetoric depended on using deep metaphores and similies and on the influencial speeches .The irony was practiced in sort of indirect style and polite, by using nice signs. But in the modern era the rhetoric messages become consice and speed, and the irony become more daring and direct. It was depicted in the the novels which react quickly to the current events and the popular culture All these changes in the rhetoric and irony reflect the cultural and social transitions in the society .As we had taken the Algerian modern novel " novel of Ahmed Rahmani to study the mothods of irony. | en_US |
