The institutional economy plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth. By improving formal and informal institutions, States can promote investment, innovation and productivity, improving living standards and reducing poverty. Despite the challenges, focusing on the development of effective institutions can have a significant and positive impact on the macroeconomic economy, The aim of this study was to analyze the realities of the institutional economy and its impact on economic growth in Algeria, so that the analytical descriptive curriculum was used in this way by theoretically capturing the study's variables and then analysing and projecting them on reality. Although there are strong economic components, such as the energy sector and natural wealth, weak governance and widespread corruption can negatively affect the economy's stability and attractiveness to investment.en_US
