dc.description.abstract | Attracting foreign currencies is one of the most important goals that various countries seek to achieve through the remittances sent by immigrants. That is why we tried, through this memo, to study the most important determinants of development and investment in Algeria and Morocco using the three-delayed ARDL data during the period 1900-2020. The autoregressive model for time gaps was also applied based on five variables represented in remittances, gross domestic product, money supply, interest rate, and money supply. Through our study, we reached the validity of the hypotheses where remittances are considered to affect development and investment in Algeria, in addition, except that there are other reasons that affect remittances, such as the effect of the parallel market, consumption behavior and others | en_US |
