This study aimed to measure the impact of global inflation on prices in different countries and we took Algeria as an example of the study through an annual benchmark study from 2001 to 2021. To achieve this goal, the passthrough model was used based on these variables (consumer price index , exchange rate) explaining the dependent variable inflation, and this by addressing the various theoretical and empirical literature regarding the reflection of inflation on prices, where the descriptive analytical method was relied. The study has reached a number of results that, in the aggregate, that there must be a relationship between inflation and the exchange rate, high inflation rates affect the devaluation of the national currency, inflation in Algeria responds directly to changes in exchange rates, and negative inflation leads to a state of economic stagnation .en_US
