Abstract: Training in modern institutions is one of the most important components adopted by human resources management in order to confront the present and the future and to stand up to rapid changes and developments. The aim of this study was to identify the role of training in human resources development to achieve this, relying on the descriptive analytical approach. The study tool was the questionnaire. Hence, the questionnaire was distributed to a sample consisting of a group of staff working in Belhadj Bouchaib University in Ain Temouchent - where 36 questionnaires were distributed to all employees of the institution in question, from which 30 analytical questionnaires were retrieved. Statistical methods were used to analyze and interpret the recorded results. This study concluded that there is a statistically significant effect at a significance level of 0.05 =α of the training programme in human resources development at Belhadj Bouchaib University in Ain Temouchent.
