dc.description.abstractLike any image, the caricature drawing in the media is considered as a means of communication, representing events that affect different areas: social, cultural, ideological ... it is one of the rich means of meaning used for the transmission of a message. In our research work we are interested in the field of image semiology from the work of R. Barthes where we can analyze satirical caricatures to show the linguistic and visual components to reinforce the message as a type of communication and also to indicate the relationship between the two linguistic and iconic codes allows a complimentarily and an interrelation that emerges a plurality of meanings and facilitates the understanding of the image.en_US
