dc.description.abstractIn the memorandum, we discussed highlighting the role of renewable energies as a key to achieving sustainable development, by presenting the various concepts related to renewable energies, their types, sources and characteristics, in addition to the concept of sustainable development and its dimensions, the role of renewable energies in achieving sustainable development from the economic, social and environmental aspects, and mentioned in detail in the first chapter. For the second chapter, we presented the strategies for the transformation towards smart cities, including definitions of smart cities, smart energy, smart mobility and smart infrastructure. As for the strategic planning for the development of ordinary cities to smart, it is almost in all industrial, social, natural resources and other fields. In the last chapter of the memorandum, we provided general information about ARTURUS, the start up in the field of smart cities, and the number of projects that it will present later under the conditions of its establishment. The Foundation's initial project is the Smart Tree Project, which relies on the optimal exploitation of renewable solar energy to contain solar panels, and provide services for citizens such as free shipping of electronic devices, giving a natural aesthetic image of the cityen_US
