Photovoltaic solar-powered electric vehicles use solar panels to convert sunlight into electricity, which is then stored in batteries and used to power the vehicle. This technology offers a sustainable and environmentally-friendly solution for reducing carbon emissions and relying less on fossil fuels. Benefits include lower fuel costs in the long term, a smaller carbon footprint and greater range thanks to constant recharging while being environmentally friendly. However, disadvantages include high initial costs for installing solar panels and limitations on the amount of energy the panels can generate, which can limit vehicle range in certain conditions.en_US
