This study is based on demonstrating the contribution of human competencies to the strategic diagnosis process. The environment in which institutions are active is characterized by instability and rapid change both at the internal and external levels of the institution. It is therefore essential that the institution harness its human competencies with its distinct knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to remain vigilant and prepared to face the opportunities and threats resulting from the external environment, and to deal with the strengths and weaknesses resulting from the institution's internal environment, thereby transforming weaknesses into strength. By following the descriptive analytical model and then selecting our hypotheses, we have concluded that human competencies contribute strongly to strategic diagnosis in its various dimensions, and that an efficient human element is critical to the success of this vital process on which the success or failure of the enterprise's strategy depends and its long-term sustainability.en_US
