Abstract: Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. The aim of our study is to identify the epidemiological and pathological data, and to determine the hormonal profile in young women aged 40 and under with breast cancer in the wilaya of Ain-Temouchent. Our work is a retrospective study of 63 young patients with breast cancer over a period from 2019 to 2023 in the Dr Benzerjeb hospital. The average age of the patients was 36 years. Most of them were married (42 cases), and 27 of them had no professional activity. Most of the patients (32 cases) had a regular menstrual cycle, (13 cases) were pauciparous and (12 cases) were nulliparous. The majority had breastfed their children (21 cases). Inflammatory signs were the most frequent reason for consultation in 17 cases. The right breast was affected in 33 patients and the left in 26, with 6 patients having both breasts affected at the same time. The location of the tumour in the breast was in the upper outer quadrant (OEC) in 17 cases. Histological study showed ductal infiltrating carcinoma (DIC), and the most abundant histopronostic grade (SBR) was grade II in 46 cases. Hormone receptor labelling was predominantly positive. Estrogen and progesterone receptors were positive in 42 cases, and HER2 status was negative in 42 patients
