This work presents the results of an experimental study on the evaluation of the mechanical and physical properties of a lightweight concrete based on expanded perlite aggregates in aggressive environments. Four series of test specimens were prepared by varying the proportion of perlite aggregates in the concrete by substituting sand ranging from 0% to 60% of its volume, and keeping them in aggressive media (sea water, sulfuric acid S2O4, hydrochloric acid HCL). One of the main objects of this work is to compare between the results of the mechanical resistances obtained by destructive and non-destructive tests such as the ultrasonic test and the measurement of the thermal conductivity. And the results are interpreted in each case.en_US
