dc.description.abstractn this end-of-study project, we presented a state of the art on existing routing protocols in FANETs in order to enrich our knowledge on FANETs issues. We then improved the hierarchical routing protocol using a new technique based on artificial intelligence for the selection of the cluster head in order to have an optimal choice. This technique consists in providing three input parameters to our integrated fuzzy system, which after applying the fuzzy rules and in conjunction with the inference engine will indicate the most appropriate decision to choose the cluster head. This technique has given satisfactory results compared to the work done using one or two parameters for the choice of the cluster head. For this project, we used MATLAB to perform our simulations.en_US
