This work presents the optimal regulations applied to the Buck converter. In general, the design of the regulation begins with linearization of the system to access the state equations, then the choice of the appropriate type of regulator. The determination of the regulator's own parameters via the appropriate LQR and LQG method which guarantees the achievement of the required performance. Through simulation via Matlab/Simulink, the performance (response time, accuracy, trajectory tracking) of each regulator is judged and compared.en_US
