Abstract: Due to the rapid development of wireless communication technology, reconfigurable antennas have become the subject of many researches because of their flexibility and ability to meet changing needs in terms of frequency, polarization and radiation pattern. This work was based on designing a printed antenna at a resonant frequency of 10GHZ, the frequency reconfiguration of our antenna was carried out by the addition of a varactor diode so that it covers the frequency range of the X band (8GHZ-12GHZ). the antenna designed is dedicated for satellite uses. The study of this antenna was made by the CST microwave studio simulator
