Electricity production can be secured by one or more plants using renewable and conventional energy. In Algeria, the electrical energy is produced mainly from natural gas. Natural gas is used in steam power plants and in combined cycle plants. The first achievements of combined cycle power plants date back to 1950 but it was only around 1975 that this technique began its rise, in parallel with the evolution of gas turbines. This work has for objective the study of gas turbines and steam and combination plays a very important role in the development of economic, social and industrial fields. The main advantage of the thermodynamic combined cycle power plant is the recovery of a part of the thermal energy of the exhaust gas of the gas turbine by a steam turbine plant to produce more electricity. In this work we are interested in the study of energy combined cycle power TERGA called SKT. The results show the interest of the combined cycle. In addition to its thermodynamic efficiency, which is large compared to that of the simple cycle gas turbine and steam turbine, we can economically benefit from an increase in the amount of energy produced by this plant.en_US
