Abstract: In this work we are interested in cooling superconducting coils. We define the phenomenon of superconductivity was discovered in 1911 by Dutch physicist Heike Kamerlingh Onnes calling. The superconducting coil is the best-known application of superconductivity. This is among the most effective solutions of energy storage; it also finds application in medicine (MRI) and transportation (train) .a superconducting wire through which an electric current will greatly increase its temperature. A high temperature superconducting cable loses and returns to the normal state, the phenomenon of Quench. A cryogenic cooling coil will reach temperatures of the order of a few degrees Kelvin and subsequently maintain its superconducting state. This cooling can be achieved by three main methods: • Bath He I saturated at atmospheric pressure • Flow of He I saturated: • superfluid helium stagnant: In practice, cryogenic systems, called cryostat, existing are classified as follows: • The pumped bath • The Roubeaut bath • The Claudet bath This study is intended as a contribution to the study of cooling superconducting coils via numerical simulation.
