Abstract: In the context of radiotherapy for breast cancer, this memory is interested in rigid registration problems. The registration algorithms are part of these tools. There are many, both within the rigid registration which only allows movement without changing the image, these movements (translation or rotation) or the non-rigid registration (where all sorts of fields deformation can be used). The goal is to estimate a geometric transformation for the spatial superposition of anatomical or functional structures present in each image. The registration methods are distinguished by the nature of the information derived to guide the mapping, by the similarity criterion for quantifying the similarity between two images. .Radiation therapy is a cancer treatment method based on the use of ionizing radiation. The irradiation of the treatment area is performed so as to destroy the malignant cells without affecting the surrounding healthy tissues. There are mainly two radiotherapy techniques: EBRT that uses a radiation source placed outside the patient, and brachytherapy that uses one or more radiation sources placed temporarily or permanently within the patient, Radiotherapy is one of the main techniques used in the treatment of cancerous tumors.
