dc.description.abstractNitrogen heterocycles are motifs present in many natural products with interesting biological activities. Several works describing the synthesis of these heterocycles in particular which they use metals of transition as catalyst. The access to new heterocycles compounds biologically active, requires the development of new fast and effective methods of synthesis, in this context we are interested in the synthesis of imidazo [has 1,2-a] pyridnes using metallic catalysts. Our work divides in two parts:  The first part concerns the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine in two steps using the bromoacetophenone and 2-aminopyridines, this way gives good results.  In the second part we were interested to the synthesis of these heterocycles according to one pot process. This way is easy and effective giving excellent yields.en_US
