Infections associated with dental care are constantly present during dental practices, the main source of this contamination is the oral cavity which is the natural habitat for a large number of microorganisms. The objective of this study is to prevent these infections, for this an isolation and identification of bacteria was carried out from the trays, the handpieces linked to the tubing, personnel, water and air, from the dental unit of the Al-Sebbah clinic, EPSP Ain Temouchent, at the end of proposed preventive measures to reduce the microbial load and an evaluation of the capacity of these strains to form biofilms, 5 samples were collected, including the results reveal the presence of a good number of microorganisms with dominance of coagulase negative Staphylococci of oral origin followed by Pseudomonas putida, Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumanii, Klebsiella pneumoniae of waterborne origin, which indicates that the circulating air and water are of poor microbiological quality, as well as the oral flora of patients carries a high bacterial load which causes dental cross infections.en_US
