Earthworms are considered ecosystem engineers. Changes in the composition of microbial communities during intestinal transit play a major role in the decomposition of organic matter. The aim of our study is to know the effect of soil on earthworms. The results showed that the presence of earthworms where the soil conducive to their life is soil 3 (containing straw) compared to soils 1 and 2. Also, we found that the amount of organic matter in the environment has an effect on the presence of these worms.en_US
