This work presents a comparison between two types of PID and RST regulators applied to the Buck converter. In general, the design of the regulation begins with the linearization of the system to access the transfer functions, then the choice of the appropriate type of regulator. Determining the proper regulator parameters via the appropriate method that guarantees obtaining the required performance is the most crucial phase. Through simulation via Matlab/Simulink, the performance (response time, accuracy, trajectory tracking) of each regulator is judged and compared, we note the advantage of the RST regulator.en_US
