In this work, we approach the DPC control which is a direct power control, and consists in directly controlling the active and reactive powers. The purpose of using a DPC is to eliminate modulation blocks and internal loops by replacing them with a switching table whose inputs are the errors between the reference values and the measurements. The need not to use modulation blocks is due to the fact that the switching states are chosen directly by a switching table. These innovations have aroused in us the interest in the study, modeling and control of a wind energy conversion system based on a double-fed asynchronous generatoren_US
