In this work, we will study the control of a three-phase asynchronous machine powered by a multi-level inverter. We will study this type of converters because it is likely to generate quasi sinusoidal voltages having an odd number of levels which can reach between several levels, The use of the multi-level structure, in order to improve the quality much more output voltage without increasing a priori the number of cells of full-bridge converters and this structure is of certain interest because it contains a reduced number of switches in comparison with the others. For the variable speed drive for this machine, vector control with conventional and intelligent overrides is applied next.en_US
