dc.description.abstractIn this work, the wave propagation of polymer composite Nano plates reinforced with graphene Nano platelets (GNPs) is presented using the non-local theory and a higher-order shear deformation theory. the material properties are based on the Halpin-Tsai model. The governing equations of the wave propagation in the plate are derived by employing the Hamilton’s principle. The analytical dispersion relation ship of the functionally graded plate is obtained by solving an eigenvalue problem. Numerical discussions are carried out to study the effect of different parameters such as non-local parameter, GNP fraction, and wavenumber on the wave propagation in the nanoplate.en_US
