dc.description.abstractMedical imaging can be used for clinical purposes for establishing a diagnosis or treatment of diseases but also in the context of scientific research studying the physiology of living beings and in the security sphere. X-rays have long been the only radiation used in medical imaging (radiology, scanner) and remain today the most sought radiation due to low cost and ease of use despite some harmful problems has its overuse. X-rays are supplemented by other techniques (ultrasound, MRI, PET) to enable a more accurate diagnosis.en_US
