Portulaca oleracea L. know under the name “Redjila” of the family of Portulacacea is often used like remedy for its medicinal properties like antioxydant, antidiabetic, antiinflammatory and antifungal drug. The crude ethanolic, dichloromethane and aqueous extracts were obtained by the extraction methods, the respective yields are: 27%, 6%, and 38%; the dichloromethane extract has the best value in the polyphenols assay of 10.5 mg/g, followed by the ethanol extract has a value of 9.3 mg/g, and finally the aqueous extract has a value of 6.3 mg/g. The phytochemical tests interest: alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins and reducing compounds. the results of the antioxidant activity show that the ethanolic extract has the highest antioxidant activity (IC50= 0.0025g/L), followed by the aqueous extract (IC50= 0.0043 g/L).en_US
