In this work, we are interested in the study of the hydrodynamic bearings (sliding bearings) of an internal combustion engine (big end bearing), for main objective to support a rotating shaft under variable dynamic loading. The studied bearing consists of three parts: the bearing, the shaft, and the lubricating film, the most important operating parameters of a finite length bearing are numerically simulated. We used a fortran program in source version for the simulation of the lubricating fluid in order to study the distribution of the pressure field as well as the different characteristics. The resolution of the problem of hydrodynamic lubrication in unsteady state is carried out using the method of mobility, which is fast in CPU and less cumbersome in RAMen_US
