With the interest expressed by sociologists in marital relationships, we find one of the most dangerous problems whose effects are not limited to the individual alone but extend to become one of the greatest threats to family and social cohesion, namely a wife's infidelity to her husband, considering this act a severe violation of trust and the marital bond. Therefore, our study aimed to determine the extent of the impact of this phenomenon on the family bond by identifying the main motives behind this behavior. This study was conducted in Ain Temouchent, specifically in the municipality of Sidi Ben Adda, focusing on immigrant women in a hair salon. Through the use of Max Weber’s interpretive approach and the utilization of interviews to gather data and information, we arrived at several results. The most important findings include the fact that not using social media platforms that contradict societal norms, as well as the lower standard of living, increases women’s inclination towards marital infidelity. Additionally, marriages based on coercion serve as a motivation for establishing emotional relationships outside the framework of marriage. Finally, non-standard family upbringing plays a significant role in deviating children’s behaviors.en_US
