Abstract: This study measured the impact of government spending and capital formation on Algeria's economic growth during the period 1997-2021. The inductive approach was followed in the theoretical aspect, while in the theoretical aspect the quantitative approach was followed using the regression methodology of the time gaps distributed ARDL. One of the most important findings of this study is that there is a correlation between government expenditure and economic growth so that the higher the government expenditure in one unit, it contributes to increasing economic growth by 0.184377 units in the long term, which is consistent with Keynesian economic theory. and there is also a correlation between capital formation and economic growth. An increase in capital formation in one unit increases economic growth by 0.502646 units
