Water is an essential element for the functioning of health facilities. And for the human organism. The distribution of good hygienic quality water is constantly needed in hospitals to prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infections. The present work consists in carrying out physicochemical, organoleptic and bacteriological analyzes of the tap water of the "Dr. BENZERDJEB" Hospital Establishment in order to assess its drinkability according to the national (Algerian) and international standards (the OMS standards). The analysis were carried out at the laboratory of microbiology and hydraulics of University Center Belhadj Bouchaib D'Ain-Temouchent. The results obtained showed that all physicochemical parameters namely temperature (20 and 20.5 ° C), hydrogenated potential (7.85 and 7.80), electrical conductivity (1960 and 1980 μs / cm), mineralization (1060 and 980 mg / L) comply with national and international standards. Organoleptic analyzes show that the color clears, limpid, colorless and odor normal, tastes and flavors pleasant and turbidity (4.9 and 4.65 NTU). The bacteriological analysis shows the absence of any indicator germs of fecal contamination such as total and fecal coliforms, fecal Streptococci and Clostridium sulphito-reducers with total absence of pathogenic germs (salmonella and staphylococci) and very low total germs rates. Have been detected but are acceptable according to the standards recommended by the World Health Organization (OMS) and Algerian. We found that the tap water distributed in the "Dr. BENZERDJEB" Hospital is of good quality and complies with national and international regulatory standardsen_US
