Abstract: The bioclimatic design of buildings is part of an approach to energy management and is therefore a key issue. It requires knowledge of energy performance and associated systems and must avoid the use of heating or cooling devices with high energy consumption. The present work concerns the study of the impact of integration of a solar chimney on the natural ventilation, the model is considered as a chamber of dimension (3m x 1m x2m) equipped with a solar chimney inclined of 40° compared to the horizontal. The conservation of mass, continuity of motion and energy equations are solved by the finite volume method using the fluent computer code. The analysis of the thermal and dynamic structure of the air flow was carried out for different solar intensities (100-800 W / m2 ), thicknesses of the air gap between the glass and the absorber (100,200 and 300 mm) and for different lengths of the solar chimney (1, 2 and 3 m). The velocity and temperature fields, the velocity contours, the variation of the temperature at the outlet of the chimney according to the solar intensity, the variation of the temperature at the exit according to the speed of entry and the air renewal times for each model were also presented and interpreted in detail in this memo
