The large diversity of natural and artificial materials found in civil engineering makes them widely used in the field of construction. The more important properties of these materials and their economic nature play an important role in determining their field of application. The use of polymer concrete offers great flexibility in the design of structures and induces several savings. In the first place the work carried out consists of making ordinary concrete and polymer concrete with addition of fibers (polypropylenes, and polyethylene). The effect of different types of polymer concrete has been studied. One of the main objectives of this work is to compare the results of mechanical strength obtained for normal concrete and polymer concrete with other tests, such as the measurement of complementary tests to measure the poetic and porous absorption. Mathematical relations are therefore developed in this study between the chemical and mechanical properties determined in the cured state.en_US
