dc.description.abstractOur work aims to size a future wastewater treatment plant for the locality of AIN BEIDA for the horizon of 2051. This dimensioning is based on two biological treatment processes: "activated sludge and SBR", in order to compare them and choose the most compact one, by calculating the wastewater flow rates by 2051, and a complete dimensioning of all basins for each process. 6 After the interpretation of the results and the comparison between the two processes concerning the total surface occupied by the basins and the closing wall, we chose the SBR as a process because of compactibility by comparing with the activated sludge. To finalize our work, we used software such as: - Autocad to apply the calculations obtained on plans. - The calculation and simulation software for adduction by discharge to determine the operating point of the pumping system and the mathematical equation of the chosen pump.en_US
