Abstract: The analysis and monitoring of certain plants is based on the knowledge of several aspects, namely the geometric parameters, such as the surface, the length or the thickness. Moreover, it is not so easy to perform these measurements in most cases, mainly due to the complexity of the geometric structure of plants. In this thesis, the work will be focused on the calculation of the surface of the blade of certain plant leaves chosen arbitrarily, and this by the use of the technique of photogrammetry. Indeed, two main methodologies have been identified, using vector processing on a single photograph (2D), and raster processing on a plant reconstructed by SfM (3D). The latter is applied to plants not destroyed in contrary the first. The precision of the surface obtained depends on several parameters depending on the processing approach; we quote: the CGP, pointing defect, the contrast of the object and EMQ for the case of 3D
