dc.description.abstractOver the past few decades, reinforcement and rehabilitation works for all types of civil engineering structures have increased considerably with the aim of improving the performance and extending the life of existing structures with satisfactory quality. Reinforcement by gluing sheets into concrete or structural steel structural members has been developed and applied all over the world due to the limitations of older technologies. Better reinforcement requires a good knowledge of the properties of the materials of the part to be reinforced as well as the materials used in this technique. Our objective is to study the behavior of a reinforced concrete beam reinforced by a sheet of composite material. This work is based on a theoretical model to estimate the normal and shear interfacial stresses developed between the keel and the reinforcementen_US
