The optical fiber is a light guide which is now the preferred medium for carrying high speed information. But to meet ever more important engendered by the development of the Internet in particular, it is necessary to always improve the propagation characteristics of the fibers, especially those related to losses and losses on the value and slope of the chromatic dispersion over the entire spectral used (case of telecommunications). A new generation of fiber is devised in order to obtain lower losses than conventional fibers. These fibers known under the name of "microstructured fibers, photonic crystal fiber which fiber photonic bandgap. In this context, we conducted a theoretical work based on modeling and simulation of various analytical propagation parameters in microstructured optical fibers. This work has allowed us to highlight the effect of each parameter on the propagation of optical sigen_US
