The incapacity of the national judiciary and its inability to resolve disputes brought before it in a timely manner and achieve justice, in addition to the complexity of investment transactions and their extension across the borders of countries and the conflict of laws they raise, led to the need for specialists to consider such disputes, so investors turned to alternative means consistent with their aspirations and their will to make their procedures easy, shorten the time, reduce their costs, and subject them to a large extent to the will of the litigants, and their active role in resolving the multiple and complex problems in those contracts, and thus protecting the State’s economy and its investments from turmoil, and rebuilding social ties and relations achieves a kind of legal and judicial stability. Hence the importance of arbitration and economic courts as a specialized judiciary as a successful method in resolving slow litigation and speedy settlement of disputes that arises between investors and the State, with the aim of achieving judicial security in the State and encouraging investment.en_US
