Abstract
The study aims to highlight the circular economy as a strategy for achieving sustainable development
goals at the Polyrec company in Oran, through the examination of an important issue centered on
Can the circular economy be considered an effective strategy for achieving sustainable development
goals?. The descriptive-analytical method was adopted to conduct the study, and a questionnaire
was used as the main tool for collecting data related to the topic. A total of 90 questionnaires were
distributed on a sample of Algerien consumers, and 70 were received. The researcher used the
SPSS V26 program and relied on several statistical tests: arithmetic mean, percentages and
frequencies, One-Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, One-Way ANOVA, regression
models and equations, and Cronbach’s Alpha as a reliability coefficient for the questionnaire.
The main findings of the study indicated the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of
the alternative hypothesis, which states: There is a statistically significant impact of the dimensions of
the circular economy on achieving sustainable development. The study also emphasized the need to
strengthen the legal and regulatory framework that supports the transition to a circular economy
through enacting clear legislation that encourages recycling and reduces excessive consumption of
natural resources. It also recommends providing financial and tax incentives to the private sector,
especially startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, to adopt sustainable solutions based on
recycling, reuse, and eco-design of products.
