Résumé
In this work, we investigated numerically the thermal and dynamic characteristics of a
convective flow in a flat-solar collector with single-pass air. The continuity, momentum, and
energy equations govern the flow inside the restricted area between the insulation and the glass.
The geometric configuration and the governing equations are solved by the ANSYS FLUENT
code, which is based on the finite volume method. The turbulence model (k−𝜀) is used to model
the turbulence. This study shows the influence on the performance of the collector using wavy shaped baffles, the impact of temperature and flux heat on its efficiency for different heights
and baffles positions.
